Hating Monday

I'm supposed to blog after having fun during the one week break of CNY '10 but blogging mood just drained away when i realized i've to rush 3 assignments dueing 1st of March. There's actually more assignments on hand.

I'm going all gaga when the growing wisdom tooth gives me headache and makes me so moody and grumpy and.. urghh. skipped all classes today. :( I feel sorry for myself. FML

I'm sorry dear readers but it just have to delay again. But i promise imma update ASAP alright?

Oh did i tell you that my cousin, Arris's mother just gave birth to a cutesy lil boy on the 8th of Feb?
So now i'm officially a biu gu and biu yi to 1 niece and 3 nephews. Gosh.
They must come together.

Mojo's graduation

I knew what she's gonna say when she sees me tomorrow.
Blaming me for going frisbee and making her daughter look like an idiot.
Anyhoo, i'm freaking banned from frisbee, until uni resumes? LOL
So on 6th of February 2010, i was at Nottingham University for fisbee tournament.
Coincidentally ze mojo's graduation held on the same day, same place.
Fate babeh, fate! :D

FYI, i ran all the way from the field behind sports hall to the clock tower, the main hall just to take this picture with him.
And i missed out on all the photo session.

Digi Gold Dealer Recognition Night

See, as promised! I blog about the job in Melaka.
It was a dinner, just one day, on Friday night. Our job is to usher VVIPs into the hall and up to the stage while prize giving and award ceremony. Basically, it's a very easy job while you get to watch and enjoy the performance, even Soo Wincci was invited to sing 3 songs. Go google about her, cz' i don't really know her too. But she's quite famous in Malaysia. She can sing sooo well!

Denniz picked me and Jaccqueln from Nilai in the morning cz' briefing was at 1pm. ftw

Luckily we're allowed to sit and take off heels when we're not needed, at the side of course. The event ended at 1130pm. By the time we reached Nilai, it was 130am or 2am.

Lotsa things happend and i believe it wouldn't happen again. Shoo all the bad lucks! Good luck starts now :)

A challenging contest

THE Ultimate Frisbee formidable sides of Kolej Bandar Utama (KBU) and INTEC Wildcats will be starting off as the favourites at the inaugural Nottingham Ultimate Open at University of Nottingham Malaysia campus in Semenyih on Feb 6.

And the hosts, with two sides in the fray, admitted they will face an uphill task to upstage the two frontrunners in the one-day tournament.

However, the side’s top line-up captain Chang Sean Der said it will be a realistic aim for Nottingham Oops! 1 to be among the top three finishers in the seven-a-side contest.

“It is going to be tough to match the two serious contenders in the tournament. They (KBU and INTEC Wildcats) are the strongest two teams in the competition and our chances for a win against both teams are very slim. It will be a challenging path for us to advance to the semi-finals,” he added.

Following the formation of the Ultimate club three years ago, Nottingham savoured their first victory at the Ultimate Connexion Invitational meet last December.

“After finishing at the bottom of the standings at the Malaysian Ultimate League last year, it was a change to win a minor competition. And the unimpressive run throughout the league was a good learning curve for us. Considering that we were the rookies, we were definitely inferior against the more established sides. We are aiming to put up more convincing performances this year,” said Chang, who is one of the three founding members still featuring for the side.

The other two pioneers are Alvin Chia and Marcus Tan.

Currently, they have 100 registered members but only about 30 players will turn up for their regular training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday at the campus’ training ground.

Chang said the upcoming competition serves as an opportunity for the beginners in their team to have a feel of the competitive environment against other teams.

“Usually, the newcomers do not get picked for the local open tournaments. We will only select the best for competitions. It will be a chance for them to have fun and gauge their skills,” he added.

Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Chin Ren Yi, who is the oldest in the pack, will be spearheading their second team’s Nottingham Oops! 2 challenge.

A total of 10 teams have confirmed their participation. The six teams comprising secondary and tertiary students are the independent side of Carebears, El Nino (combination of Taylor’s College and Catholic High School), All Singapore Rejects, Nilai International College, Inti University College Nilai and U8 Soar (SMK USJ8).

For the group stage, the competing teams will be divided into two groups with five teams each and the grouping will be conducted on the day of the tournament.

Just when i felt so relieved after handed up Business Communication individual assignment yesterday, only i found out that there are actually many more to come. If you think your assignments are actually more baffling, please take a look at mine.

• Business Communication assignment + presentation dueing 1st March
• Understanding Financial Reports, 3000 words dueing 21st March
• Critical thinking group assignment dueing 26th March
• Business Communication group assignment dueing 31st March

Point is, all the above assignments are YET TO BE STARTED. Means i have done nothing at all for the above assignments. Tell me what should i do, from where should i start? And why am i already on holiday mood now. Blame pink for leaving Nilai just now, to KL with ze family and off to Kelantan for CNY break THIS FRIDAY. FML ):

I have one more week of classes, with all the discussion shits and research going on. And when uni resumes, it's already 22nd of Feb. So pathetic that I am bothered by assignments even on CNY and the one week break. Oh wait, i actually take leave because 1Malaysia is so 'fair' that they only give us 2 days public holiday for CNY. How great is that? Cheers to 1MALAYSIA. wtf

I didn't know i typed so long about ASSIGNMENTS. So much to grumble on. FML seriously.

On a happy note, I'm going Malacca on Friday for an ushering job, only one day :) Hopefully it's a happy note. Or am i just being optimistic considering that i have such pathetic life nowadays. And i accidentally take it as a getaway from the overburden life. Mehhh

LOL c'mon, it's not that bad afterall. Nottingham Open and Mojo's graduation on this coming Sat! :D
